Rogers is seeking a motivated sales compensation SPM (Sales performence management) Business Systems Analyst. Reporting to the Manager, Commission & Fraud Delivery within the Rogers Human Resources Systems team, the BSA will be working with our business partners and ITS delivery teams to lead requirement workshops, solution sessions, clarify and document requirements, document the end-to-end work flows and use cases for new projects following the Agile and waterfall System Development Life Cycle.

What you will be doing...

  • Ensure that business requirements are clearly identified, documented, prioritized and satisfied by appropriate technical and or business process solutions.
  • Elicit, analyze, document and validate business requirements or user stories, process flows, identifying system and process solution components, producing Use Case Document, API Specification, functional specifications for solution components or possibly for the integrated solutions.
  • Evaluate and improve business processes for the purpose of developing appropriate solutions. Liaise between business, end users, developers, testing and other teams within Rogers.
  • Communicate with project managers, application developers, subject matter experts, end users, and Rogers' senior management.
  • Lead complex application development projects
  • Lead integration projects which impact multiple departments or workgroups across multiple business units.
  • Work as SME for all compensation projects which involve interfaces with different platform within Rogers such as Billing, Network, Data Management, Call Reporting technology systems and/or 3rd parties.
  • Lead business process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to building relationships (vendor and business)
  • Generates and documents internal business user and functional specification requirements using interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, and task and workflow analysis in moderate to highly complex environments.
  • Ensure assigned deliverables are within business / audit control requirements
  • Occasional off-hours work required to during critical project lifecycle.
  • Works closely with other BSAs to ensure test cases adequately reflect end-to-end processes and are explicitly documented.
  • Take ownership of end to end requirement and specification design and all aspects related to development and ensure design and development standards are followed
  • Coordinate development effort with development team
  • Assist in QA activities, Participate and conduct Code reviews once the code is unit tested and ready for QA and resolve issues raised by QA team
  • Create project documentation (SDS, Implementation approach, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Provide both work effect and resource estimates for projects
  • Provide accurate and timely progress status to development manager and project managers
  • Help identify and address business opportunities with innovative business architectures.
  • Define test cases, validate individual functions and the overall solution delivery, and may be directly involved in the test process.


What you have...

  • Experience with Informatica and ETL development.
  • Experienced Agile Scrum Master
  • 5+ years Sales Compensation SME, CallidusCloud TrueComp /Commissions and SPM experience
  • 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience
  • 5+ years working with SDLC (preferably Agile as well as waterfall methodology)
  • 5+ years of experience in: Requirements Elicitation, Requirements Analysis & Management, Enterprise Analysis, Solution Assessment & Validation 
  • 5+ years in the Telecom Industry, working in an IT governed role
  • Business Process Management (BPM)
  • Business Workflow Design
  • CBAP Certification preferred or in progress.
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in an ever changing fast pace environment
  • Proven ability to lead other Business Analysts as a lead BSA
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Communicates effectively with meaningful and articulate verbal discussions.
