Rogers is seeking a Manager, Implementation of Wireless Capacity Augmentations, GTA Region reporting to the Director, Access Network Implementation, GTA Region.  This position is based out of our Brampton campus with travel to other GTA offices as required.  The Manager, Site Augmentations & In-Building , Central Region will lead a department accountable for the successful implementation of Wireless site augmentations and upgrades in Central Region.  The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and technical acumen to drives results and have the ability to lead through influence, build strong relationships and work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.    

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and lead a team of Project Managers and staff in delivering various capacity projects in the GTA Region
  • Work with Network Planning/Engineering, Field Operations, and Real Estate in the implementation of various site augmentations in order to meet Network Capacity and Coverage demands.
  • Work with the Network PMO to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project and program schedules, status and costs
  • Support teams and remove road blocks on projects and programs.
  • Build and drive a collaborative culture aligned to governance processes
  • Lead, manage and motivate team by mentoring, coaching and ensuring development plans established for each team member
  • Manage a budget to deliver against targets.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience with at least 5 years in a Network Management role
  • Minimum of 10 years’ direct experience in a Network Implementation and/or Project Management role
  • Post Secondary education in Engineering and/or Business Administration
  • Strong understanding of Telecommunication construction Methodology for Wireless cell sites.
  • PMP certification considered an asset.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and build alignment around what has been prioritized
  • Expert problem solving, troubleshooting decision making skills
  • Superior communication (written and verbal), negotiation and facilitation skills with various audiences.
  • Must have the ability to consistently and collaboratively resolve issues, mitigate roadblocks, and align teams.
