The Rogers Retail & Supply Chain IT team is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual for the role of Manager, Solution Design. Reporting to the Sr. Manager Solution Design, this individual will lead a team of BSAs in developing and implementing efficient and innovative technology solutions used within our sales channels.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and manage a team of BSAs responsible for solution design of the portfolio of technology used by our sales channels
  • Provide support, guidance, and mentorship to the team
  • Collaborate with Engagement Managers and Business stakeholders on intake of new initiatives and provide initial feedback and assessment
  • Assign resources to projects and manage team workload
  • Review and approve all solutions developed by the team
  • Develop a strong working relationship with our key Business partners and support their technology needs
  • Work with the team and business to identify areas of opportunity and develop technology roadmaps
  • Represent Retail IT team at various cross-functional working level and governance meetings
  • Build strong working relationships with other IT teams to facilitate day to day collaboration
  • Maintain understanding of Business and Sales processes to ensure technological alignment
  • Collaborates on omni-channel solutions that seamlessly integrate retail solutions with the Digital solutions
  • Enhances the usability of browse flows, selection mechanisms, page layouts, option sorting and optimization. Streamline, consolidate and upgrade Retail transaction applications

 

What you have:

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience
  • 1 or more years of relationship management and/or leadership experience
  • Experience in managing teams
  • Highly developed analytic, interpersonal and communication skills to influence and engage colleagues, along with a broad understanding of the businesses they support
  • Ability to manage and track multiple initiatives through the life cycle steps of initiation, planning, execution and project closure
  • Experience with Project Business Process Management and Software Development Lifecycle methodologies. Experience with Agile delivery is an asset
  • Ability to synthesize information into succinct, concise and logical summaries and reports for audiences of varying levels of technical background
