Rogers is seeking a Works Co-ordinator to join the Field Service Centre (FSC) organization.  You will have the opportunity to apply your customer service skills and experience, strong collaboration in a team environment, superior communication and initiative, and exceptional focus on quality results to support the Wireless Field Operations team in their pursuit of customer service excellence.  You will apply your existing knowledge and experience as well as develop new ones for both current and longer term.  This is a fast paced environment requiring someone who is flexible and adaptable.  You will collaborate with Field Operations, Vendors, Procurement, IT Support, OSS, and other organizations and leverage your education in an administrative or business-related discipline, process development experience, use of customer service tools, and analytical skills to deliver day to day results as well as ones that strengthen the business for the long term.  You have strong personal drive, are passionate about whatever you do, and work effectively in a team environment to deliver results.  This position reports to the Manager of Field Ops and FSC.

  • Provide excellent responsiveness to Field Operations requests (i.e. safety equipment, other equipment needs)
  • Familiar with ticketing process for servicing customer requests
  • Interface and develop strong working relationships with other departments (Field Operations, Civil, IT Support, Accounts Payable, Finance, Network Services, 3rd Party Vendors, Fleet, OSS)
  • Coordinate, track and report on test equipment calibration, repairs, etc.
  • Support inventory and asset management programs
  • Participate in developing, documenting and implementing departmental processes
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment with exceptional collaboration
  • Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned
  • Budget tracking, reporting, forecasting, and management is an asset



  • Post-secondary education in an administrative or business-related discipline plus minimum of 5 years experience or equivalent in education/experience.
  • Exceptional customer orientation skills with demonstrated ability
  • Very strong initiative and forward thinking is definitely required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver quality results
  • General safety knowledge and scheduling experience
  • Process development experience including documentation
  • Experience with statistical analysis of data would be an asset
  • Experience running meetings, setting agendas, assigning actions & follow up, driving schedule
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment. 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet changing deadlines.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills essential
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
  • Solid understanding of business professionalism, quality performance and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Applications; especially excel and Powerpoint
  • Remedy knowledge an asset
