Job Title: Regional Sales Specialist

 

Imagine working for an exciting entrepreneurial company where employees are committed to meeting big challenges and making a real difference.  That's Rogers - a leading communications and media company where people come to do great work.  We are seeking an experienced professional who will be responsible for providing insight into day to day needs and challenges of the Partner Retail Sales Channel.  Ideal candidates will enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced and ever-changing team environment and have the ability to build relationships with multiple stake holders across the regions.

Reporting to the Director Partner Retail Operations, this position will be the voice of the regions, look to drive change and keep the experience of the partner retail rep top of mind.

Responsibilities:

 

o    Liase and collaborate with regional management teams from coast to coast, in gathering feedback and intell to support driving change and decision making

o    Provide support to Partner Retail EPP Program

o    Competitive Intell support – uphold and maintain channel specific intell including but not limited to systems and processes and comp intell vs. competitive carriers

o    Operational support for Regional field teams including but not limited to fielding program inquiries from regional team (both Consumer and SMB) and liasing with internal program managers as required

o    Creation and consolidation of powerpoint presentations including, but not limited to, regional briefings, strategy info and key channel competitive intelligence reference information

o    Work with our Care teams in ensuring that customer contract requests are actioned and delivered from our National Account team

o    Consistently evaluate and provide strategic recommendations to improve day-to-day tasks

o    West Coast based – PST Support for national Sales Channel including after hours bulletin distribution and support

o    Ad Hoc administration and support as required

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a business-related discipline, preferably with between 1 and 3 years' experience in the Telecommunications Industry
  • Demonstrated technical expertise with MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Oracle
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning, and organizational skills
  • Solid interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet changing deadlines
