The Project Manager (PM) promotes a customer-centric and business-focused approach to service delivery and outcomes, by aligning Client business objectives with End to End services and service levels.  The PM is responsible for supporting the needs of Corporate Clients as fulfilled through the delivery of End to End expert teams, solutions and services. The role of the PM is to maintain positive Client and End to End relationships while representing End to End’s core values – Quality, Integrity and Balance.   This position reports into PMO and is based in our head office in Markham, Ontario.

The PM will bring forward a mature proactive and predictive operating model with Clients, based on End to End best practices, quality standards, expert guidance and proven methodologies. The PM understands the current and changing business needs of our Clients and the impact of End to End Services on these business needs, helping in the process of identifying, planning, and prioritizing activities to fulfill the goals of the business.  

The business outcomes for the PM role are improved relationships with Clients and End to End Teams, service quality assurance, and being recognized as their 'Trusted IT Partner’ who delivers added business value.  

What you'll do:

  • Work with Sales Team to understand and successfully execute business and technology strategies with key Client accounts
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders to monitor and manage outcomes against agreed to targets, including:
    • Business and technology objectives
    • Service levels and performance standards
    • Resource, timeline and profitability targets
  • Preparation, analysis and presentation of key performance metrics, as part of regularly scheduled cadence and custom requests
    • Gather and analyze statistical, benchmark, and performance data 
    • Investigate issues and gaps
    • Compile findings, prepare recommendations and write Client-facing reports
    • Work with internal and external systems, tools and processes, as required
  • Client communications and reporting for service emergences, critical issues, and/or major outages 
  • Prepare and distribute RFO’s, resolution plans, etc. 
  • On-Boarding of new Clients (new Client organizations and/or new Client contacts) with Service Delivery Teams (Professional Services and National Support Centre)
  • Establish and execute standardized and comprehensive on-boarding plans and processes
    • Project manage individual Client plans and timelines
    • Identify, document and oversee Client responsibilities
  • Responsible for co-ordination and data gathering of technical and non-technical requirements for on-boarding tasks (introductions, inventories, documentation, system/tool parameters and updates, process & procedures, orientation and training…)

What you bring:

  • 3+ years’ Planning and project management skills.  Project Management Certification (CAPM and PMP) is an asset
  • 2+ years’ experience with IT management systems and operations
  • Post-Secondary Education in business and technology or equivalent work experience
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is an asset
  • The ability to promote a positive work environment through team-work
  • Presentation Skills at all levels
  • Detail Oriented and Analytical.  Ability to interpret data and relate to business environment
  • Capable of understanding business possibilities and obstacles and using this knowledge to creatively resolve issues and create business improvement opportunities
  • Highly motivated to promote and ensure quality results and standards
  • Strong communication (written & oral), interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • CCNA certification and/or understanding of computer networking is an asset
