Show Execution Planner

 

Responsibilites:

  • The primary responsibility is pre-producing and overseeing show execution from beginning-to-end. 
  • This includes working closely with on-air crew, hosts, guests/vendors, Show Financial Planners, Manager and Buying team to ensure the overall show vision is flawlessly executed.
  • Setup show planning call with Scenic, Lighting, Production, Hosts & vendors/guests etc.
  • Request all support assets from vendor (A/B Roll, claims, B&A’s, charts, FAQ’s) distribute to cross functional partners where required
  • Develop and manage show support (transfer any existing show support to new items and double check that repeat items have proper support attached. Delete old support which is no longer valid from ScriptSure and Curator)
  • Manage show vision (demo ideas, samples, set locations, support etc.)
  • Check sample availability for on-air and demos - request any additional demo samples from the MA’s
  • Ensure Scenic has all props and required demo items, ensure proper fit of samples on models
  • Review Before shots form submitted by the vendor and Co-Ordinate Before shots with Production Manager
  • Complete Show Execution Memo (marketing promotions & messages, show strategy, targets, callers to air plan, demo plans)
  • Ensure all Show Execution info is relayed to hosts, guests and crew
  • Show rehearsal 48-72 hours prior to show when necessary (review all samples and demos with the guest and host where applicable)
  • Sign-off on Pre-Show Checklist (confirm info banners, Execution Show Memo’s, guest bio, brand Info, marketing messages, show strategy, support flow, on-air graphics, samples for on-air use including demo items etc.)
  • Greet new guests (show blocking show them around so that they are aware of where to get mic’d, which studio they are in, which dressing room and when to get make-up)
  • Other Duties as required

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of previous experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated knowledge in all aspects of production and post-production process
  • Experience in shooting and editing an asset
  • Proven ability to contribute a strong creative style with a great eye for visual elements
  • Above average organizational and communication skills
  • Can do attitude – highly motivated and adaptable - innovator, problem solver
  • Customer oriented - understanding of client deliverables and the ability to take responsibility for them
  • Professionalism and great interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts as required; including early morning, evening and weekends
