The Manager, Client Service role within our Integrated Sports team is responsible for project management, executing sold programs/campaigns across all platforms through integrated solutions for our partners (agencies and advertisers) and developing strategic sponsorship opportunities.  The role will be part of, but not limited to the Rogers Sports Sales team reporting directly to the Director, Integrated Sales – Sports & NHL. This role will also work cross-functionally to support various sales teams across Rogers Media. They must understand Sportsnet and NHL’s content, rights and how we can execute all available platforms within the boundaries of secured agreements. They must establish productive relationships with internal Sportsnet areas, including Content/Programming/Platforms, Revenue Planning and Strategy and Traffic.  They should model an energetic, positive attitude that helps build and foster a “winning team” environment. 

  

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

  • Execute sold programs, project management and daily client management
  • Activation/Project Management 
  • Working with Programming, Production and Traffic on the implementation of sold campaigns across all platforms including, but not limited to broadcast, radio, digital and publishing 
  • Follow up with clients regarding outstanding ad material 
  • Assist in campaign renewal process; providing feedback, initiatives, campaign history, reports and analysis of sports integrated multi-platform campaigns 
  • Identify and provide upsell opportunities on current and upcoming campaigns across all media platforms 
  • Create/manage work-back schedules for all integrated multi-platform campaigns to ensure all components are achieved on-time 
  • Be a central contact for sales, client and internal in relation to campaign activation and agreements 
  • Manage implementation of integrated sports/NHL campaigns across all platforms 

 

Client Management 

  • Respond to agency & client inquiries regarding integrated sales and sponsorships 
  • Liaise with clients and external stakeholders on project execution while providing accurate updates and feedback 
  • Occasionally attend events (as needed) as related to client relations/business development 

 

Reporting and Analysis 

  • Track variables of all active/executed campaigns (including flight date(s), client, cost, annual increase, content and etc.) 
  • Provide detailed summaries and analysis while identifying renewal or upsell opportunities 

  

WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma 
  • 2-5 years of related work experience in a sales project management capacity 
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications 
  • Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment 
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  
  • Strong organizational skills
