The R4B Product team is looking for a Senior Manager, Business Economics. This role will be directly responsible for the end to end (E2E) management and development of the ARPU/Contribution Margin Strategies and the Budgeting/Planning/Forecasting process. The ideal candidate will require a strong business and financial acumen, analytical mindset, forecasting experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, people-management experience is required as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well in a fast paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will also be an incredible collaborator who works cross functionally with ease and success!

What you will do:

  • Lead and own the Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting process for all of Enterprise Wireless and Wireline segments and consolidating plans at enterprise level
  • Collaborate with segment leads to develop the annual enterprise budget and own the forecasting process and IBRO reporting/forecasting
  • Lead a team focused on ideation, management and own the execution of ARPU/Contribution margin strategies and targets across all segments of R4B to develop a cross functional focus
  • Develop a cadence to ensure timely execution, KPI reporting and performance measurements
  • Conduct business deep dives, special projects and lead strategic initiatives to identify opportunities/risks in ARPU/Contribution Margins and enable efficiencies in surfacing opportunities and risk
  • Actively collaborate with all parts of the business and drive participation from cross functional teams to identify opportunities
  • Work closely with the Customer Business Unit (CBU) and R4B teams on initiatives and offers impacting R4B
  • Perform adhoc projects as required

What you will bring:

  • An undergraduate business/commerce degree
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling skills
  • A “think outside the box” perspective and lead special projects to do things differently
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and understand concepts, multi-task, investigate issues, solve problems, promote efficiency/automation, make decisions, manage processes, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Forward thinking with a strong ability to see new trends and quickly translate these trends to the company’s strategy
  • Results driven – both short term and long term
  • Excellent and proven analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to exercise a high degree of business judgment and sound reasoning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a demonstrated collaborator
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word
  • Knowledge of SQL, SAS, or Thinkcell is an asset required
  • Technical aptitude regarding wireless products and devices
  • Varied industry experience in subscription model businesses (information services, merchant acquiring) is an asset
