Senior Manager, Channel Performance

 

This position will be responsible for ongoing monitoring of channel performance and identifying performance gaps while driving and developing tactics to deliver key metrics and priorities. Role will work closely with channel marketing, commercial strategy, marketing, channel management and other stakeholders to develop and drive best-in-class sales performance practices. The ideal candidate will possess a unique combination of technical skills, expertise on Telesales channel and leadership skills, combined with experience at successfully navigating complex cross-functional environment. This role will cover both Rogers and Fido Telesales groups, on both Cable and Wireless LoBs.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Support Telesales leadership team in identifying trends and insights for improvement of Telesales channel
  • Collaborate on building a plan to achieve/exceed quarterly targets in partnership with Channel Marketing, Marketing, Commercial strategy and Channel management
  • Engage with Telesales Sr. Director, Site leaders and Channel marketing to develop tactics to align with priorities and address potential gaps
  • Champion availability of resources and drive operational focus at appropriate levels within Telesales channel to drive objectives
  • Work with Telesales support team to engage Channel Marketing team to develop job aids in support of quarterly plans/priorities; tailor as needed for regional needs
  • Build repeatable performance centric processes (weekly, monthly and quarterly) to drive results and efficiencies, including regular call listening and gathering of competitive intelligence
  • Collaborate with the Sales Insight team to ensure reporting tools are fully leveraged and that channel reports are produced in a consistent manner - data provided at agent/TM/Site level is clear, concise and easily consumable
  • Represent Telesales channel in cross-functional teams and projects as required
  • Work together with Channel support team to execute and operationalize all sales tactics

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 5-7 years’ of experience of driving channel performance results (preferably in Telesales channel)
  • Proactive, results-driven, innovative and an exceptional team player
  • Proven ability to contribute to a fast paced results-oriented team with a track record of successful delivery in highly cross-functional environments – preferably in a call center environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including problem resolution, facilitation, and consensus building.
  • Demonstrated ability to make effective presentations to, collaborate with, and influence multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, data,  analytical, financial and problem solving skills
  • University degree or MBA degree in a Business or Finance discipline would be an asset
  • Experience in telecommunications, complimented by knowledge of industry, market and competitive trends, and Rogers strategic direction
