NATURE AND SCOPE:


This position is responsible for supporting the of the Stadium Operations department.  This position will work closely with the Manager and Director of Stadium Operations daily to ensure administrative and support functions of the department are operating effectively.  This position is required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide administrative support to the Manager and Director
  • Assist in the creation and production of all game day credentials (both seasonal and temporary)
  • Attend homestand meetings to create and distribute homestand notes
  • Create event details daily for all PT staff
  • Facilitate MLB Batting practice system
  • Assist with invoicing for the department
  • Maintain gamestaff files, MLB BSOP records, etc.
  • Responsible for incident card tracking and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Diploma/Degree in Sport Administration/Management or related field,
  • Plus  1 – 3 years of related experience
  • Excellent communication skills complimented with a friendly and professional telephone/in person manner with superior commitment to service excellence, customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines.
  • Ability to work with accuracy in an unsupervised environment.
  • Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekend and holidays as required.
  • Willingness to learn new computer applications.
  • Ability to legally work in Canada.
