Rogers Radio Victoria (Ocean 98.5 and KiSS 103.1) is seeking a superstar Promotions Representative with an outgoing personality and flexible schedule to assist in the day to day duties of the promotions department.  

Reporting to the Promotions Manager, this individual will be able to plan and execute on-site activations and have tremendous people and communications skills. Digital and video proficiencies are a huge asset. An understanding of how digital & social enhances promotions is essential, and candidates with experience will have a competitive advantage.  Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as WordPress is required. 

Must be available outside designated work hours as part of the role. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced working environment both independently and as a team while maintaining a high attention to detail. 



  • Assisting in the planning of promotions as directed by the Promotions Manager
  • Updating station websites & social media.
  • Attend weekly meetings and client meetings as needed.
  • Administrative duties as needed.
  • Maintain a detailed promotions calendar and inventory list.
  • Preparing all information and promotional kits for staff for each event.
  • Must be available to work outside of standard daytime work hours.
  • Other duties as assigned by Promotions Manager.


  • Must be highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Victoria is an asset.
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and a passion to succeed.
  • College or University diploma or degree in Radio, Public Relations or Marketing
  • Communication and people skills a must.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & WordPress.
  • Knowledge of PhotoShop and ability to shoot & edit video an asset.
  • Strong writing a major asset.
  • Must hold valid Driver’s Licence.
