As the Network Supply Chain Management team, we manage the supply chain for network material that champions the leading edge of technology and media. We build and enhance our fixed broadband network to provide high-speed Internet, TV, and Smart Home Monitoring; and support our world class wireless network, offering our customers Canada’s largest and most reliable 5G network. Reporting to the Manager, Supply Planning (Networks), the successful candidate will be responsible for demand and supply planning for network hardware, working with several stakeholders including PMO, Finance, Procurement and IT, among others. We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented individual with top-notch analytical skills, who is able to derive actionable results in a highly ambiguous environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyze historical demand and create statistical demand forecast based on trends and seasonality.

  • Maintain and enhance supply planning models to determine purchase requirements, supplier forecasts and inventory projections.

  • Collaborate with teams upstream and downstream of supply planning to ensure alignment and seamless operation.

  • Support implementation and execution of the S&OP process for the team, including supplier engagement and leadership communication.

  • Prepare Excel reports as needed, including dashboards, charts, summaries, and presentations for management.

  • Work with multiple stakeholders to gather or provide information or business requirements to achieve common goals.

  • Support implementation of SKU Rationalization and other master data projects to improve operational efficiency.

 

 

What you’ll bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree, with 2-3 years of supply chain experience.

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and preferably, experience working with large data sets.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail and ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking, with the ability to transform ambiguous data into actionable insights.

  • Good communication skills to be able to engage effectively with different teams and across different levels of seniority.

  • Ability to communicate complex results/analyses to leaders through effective storytelling and visualizations.

  • Aptitude and interest in learning ERP Systems, technical concepts, and operational processes.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and to respond well to changing priorities and workload.

  • Positive attitude and a customer-focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy, and sincerity.

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Demand/Supply Planning platform or familiarity with other supply chain planning tools a great asset

  • Post graduate degree or certifications in Supply Chain Management or Data Sciences preferred

  • Proficiency in PowerBI is a big plus

  • Experience with VBA, Python or Excel data models is an asset
