Who we are looking for
We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Business Systems Analyst who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder technology environment. You excel at bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, and you are comfortable navigating complex systems, multiple domains, and evolving priorities.
You are a strong collaborator who can independently manage documentation, maintain structured requirements, lead discussions with stakeholders, and support the core project delivery team (PM, SDM, tech leads) to ensure successful end‑to‑end solution delivery. A proactive mindset, strong analytical thinking, and a passion for improving processes will help you succeed in this role.
What you will do
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate across multiple applications/domains, and business partners, to conduct requirements review, design (JAD) sessions, and solution review and sign off
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to clearly define and document the project requirements, and accurately maintaining the requirements matrix, or Jira Epics and story cards.
- Project Documentation Management: Responsible for maintaining all project artifacts (eg Jira cards, requirements matrix, project charter, HLD/DDD, PCR’s, Cyberstar tickets, etc.), gathering the inputs from cross-functional teams, and ensuring version control and accuracy of all required documentation.
- Project Delivery Support: Providing support to the PM and SDM throughout all phases of the delivery cycle, documenting and following up on project risks and issues, supporting QE test execution, and collecting/ensuring any decisions and minutes of meeting are captured accurately.
- Post-Implementation Support: Ensure the smooth transition of IT solutions into production and provide post-implementation support and optimization as necessary.
- Assessing business needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommends options, risks, and cost vs. benefits
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for IT development teams.
- Create and maintain process flowcharts, data models, and other visual representations to illustrate current and proposed solution.
- Assist in the design of technology solutions that align with business requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives, status, and issues
- Document and Present findings and recommendations to management concisely.
- Work with various business and delivery teams ensuring good, solid, well written requirements that allow IT delivery teams to create solutions that align to the requirements
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address vulnerabilities and mitigate risks
- Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions while actively contributing to process improvement and organizational efficiency
What you bring
- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role within IT delivery or solution design
- Strong understanding of requirements gathering, documentation, and Jira or similar tools
- Ability to manage and maintain complex sets of project artifacts with accuracy and version control
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of engaging both business and technical stakeholders
- Experience participating in design sessions, solution reviews, and end‑to‑end delivery cycles
- Familiarity with process modelling (e.g., flowcharts, data models, UML)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and work across multiple domains simultaneously
- Knowledge of IT delivery processes, testing cycles, and post‑implementation support
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to improving processes and driving solution quality
