Rogers is seeking a Delivery Manager to join the Access Networks team. 


What you will be doing: 

  • Manage projects and budget in order to meet business objectives
  • Manage the grouping of projects as a program; observe the link between the projects included in the mandate.
  • Manage and assist project team in order to comply with the program strategy
  • Set project expectations and priorities in collaboration with stakeholders and internal clients
  • Lead project planning sessions collaboratively with project team and stakeholders
  • Produce project cost estimates, monitor expenditures and manage budget
  • Conducting production meetings in collaboration with project team members
  • Develop and maintain all project documentation (Project Plan, Issue and Action Logs, Risk Management, Communication Plan, Status Reports, Post Implementation Reviews, etc.).
  • Complete project closure activities

What you will bring: 

  • Embody confidence, optimism and integrity.
  • Lead by example, inspire and support the team through the project lifecycle.
  • Previous experience as a project manager in the implementation of Core & Access Transport network services.
  • Knowledge of Sonet, DWDM, OTN, Ethernet (an asset).
  • Knowledge of Ciena, Fujitsu, Nokia (an asset).
  • Experience in managing a group of simultaneous initiatives.
  • Able to think clear and concisely, flexible and able to adapt to change.
  • Ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization succinctly and significant.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
  • Telecommunications experience (an asset)
  • Certificate of Professional Project Management (PMP) (an asset)
  • Creativity, flexibility and an ability to manage time and reset priorities in a dynamic environment
