What you'll do:

  • Be responsible for multiple projects and systems in terms of both development and 2nd level support
  • Create a work environment where staff are engaged, accountable, challenged, and recognized for their work
  • Lead the team’s day-to-day operations through coaching, leadership, guidance, and performance management
  • Define the Orchestration technology strategy in a multi-vendor ecosystem and develop a reference architecture for cloud-native orchestration
  • Work with Business Dev teams to identify new opportunities for Orchestration portfolio
  • Select the Service Orchestration platform by leading the RFPs, POCs and Lab trials
  • Implementation of the selected Service Orchestration platform
  • Manage the capacity and lifecycle of platforms to ensure services are always available
  • Manage partnerships with outside suppliers
  • Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines 
  • Assemble and manage teams of information systems personnel to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systems 
  • Control the budget and expenditures of the department, company or project 
  • Recruit and supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians and other personnel and oversee their professional development and training.


What you have:

  • BS Degree in engineering (IT, Telecom, Computer Science).
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant telecommunications experience and strong wireless industry wide knowledge
  • Experience with people leadership
  • Deep Service Orchestration knowledge, including MANO, NFV-O and SDN-controllers
  • Knowledge of 5G networks, 5GT-SO, ONAP or OSM is a strong asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player working closely with multiple internal organizations
  • Ability to stay focused on your goals and ensure deadlines are met while addressing all obstacles
  • Proven ability to recruit and lead professional development teams
  • Excellent ability to present relevant business and industry insights to drive the business forward
  • Ability to be a good listener with very high interest and curiosity to understand specific challenges and needs
