Rogers is seeking an Engagement Manager, to act as the advisory and focal point of contact between Business primes and IT development teams that will leverage and participate in technology solutions to help the organization achieve their business objectives and work on Roadmap Plan for EBU.  Reporting to the Senior Engagement Manager at the Rogers Park Brampton Campus, this individual will be expected to act as the solution prime to the various initiatives within Information Technology Enterprise Business Unit.


What you will be doing…

  • Contributes to business strategic plans and direction for the EBU Department.
  • Co-ordinating recurring portfolio reviews with IT and business primes, guiding new requests through the IT SDLC, responsible for T-shirt, Solution document and requirements matrix generation.
  • Manages requirements documentation, analyzes opinions, and proposes solutions for different initiatives.
  • Liaise between GTM Primes, delivery, Infrastructure, project management, subject matter experts, end users, executives and engagement teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
  • Lead proposed technology decisions during conceptual phases and represent business partner’s requirements from project inception to delivery.
  • Oversees the technical design, development and implementation of multiple, complex, corporate-wide systems
  • Identifies and highlights problem areas, gaps or conflicts derived from information gathered and proposes options for resolution, ensuring proposed system development or business process solutions. Escalate to executive level wherever required.
  • Ensures projects align with the business and ITS strategies, contributing to the development of future EBU Roadmap, plans and processes in supported organizations and business unit level.  
  • Manage new ideas/initiatives funnel by collaborating with business partners and development teams, identifying opportunities to grow the business through an innovative and effective use of technology and by evaluating technologies.


What you have…

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of in the Information Technology field and 3+ years of in the Telecomm industry.
  • Experience in leading the setup of cloud base applications CRM, Ordering, Billing.
  • Sales Force knowledge/experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud Computing.
  • AWS Certificate, PMP certificate is an asset.
  • Demonstrated excellence in business analysis, requirements gathering, and formal documentation (5+ years of experience)
  • Demonstrated experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall and Agile).
  • Experience leading strategic projects and teams from inception to delivery (program or sr. project manager or delivery manager).
  • Excellent communicator both oral and written, with the ability to frame technology issues in business terms.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
