About the Team: 
You will create amazing experiences that bring our brands to life and solve complex problems for our customers using the latest emerging technologies. This role focuses on the OV Connected Home program within the IT group, empowering our front-line agents with the right tools to easily serve the customers. 

 

Our team aims to deliver a seamless sales and service experience to our frontline agents who assist our customers in the Care, Field and Retail settings. The primary focus will be on developing and supporting next-generation solutions delivered to our frontline staff. 

 

What you’ll be doing…

  • Responsible for developing microservices and other solutions based on business need.
  • Working on Angular 12 client and developing new enhancements.
  • Understands the collection of a series of technologies needed to complete a project.
  • Creates, tests, and implements software programs utilizing programming languages.
  • Structures, designs, implements, and tests the project based on one language or more languages.
  • Creates a prototype design for a product very rapidly with a wide range of techniques.
  • Uses development frameworks and third-party libraries.
  • Conducts code reviews, mentors, and coaches the larger team, provides objective feedbacks to consultants and development partners to ensure proper execution of projects.
  • Develop and administer different test suites covering unit, integration, functional and regression testing.

 

What you will bring…

  • Passionate about learning new technologies and building innovative solutions leveraging: Modern Cloud Software Environments and Containers (Docker/Kubernetes), Knowledge about MS Azure, CI/CD, Microservice Architectures, API Documentation.
  • Familiar with software best practices and design patterns.
  • Effective communicator both oral and written, with the ability to frame technology issues in business terms
  • Be flexible to understand and balance timelines, technical challenges with legacy data and constraints.
  • Creates clear and coherent written materials.
  • Experience with GIT, CMS systems
  • Strong communications (written & oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about learning new technologies, languages, and tools.
  • A mindset of creativity, innovation, and an energetic drive to succeed.
