The Product Management Industrial IoT is a role based out of Toronto and is a key part of the Enterprise IoT Advanced Services Team.
Working within Rogers for Business (R4B), the objective of this position is to be accountable for the end-to-end customer ready activities needed to launch and support our Industrial IoT portfolio which includes Managed Private Mobile Networks. 
Key customer ready activities include:
-    defining and updating product description, value proposition and service level requirements
-    collaborating with extended team to define and execute on product roadmaps
-    development and ongoing iterations of customer commercial agreements 
-    managing product lifecycle, customer journey’s, and marketing plans.
-    manage product portfolio to meet revenue and margin objectives
-    ensure that training is developed and launched to sales, channels and operations to support the product portfolio
-    meet with customers on a regular basis in support of the above activities
This position reports to the Senior Director of Business Development and Industrial IoT. This critical function requires an individual contributor who is highly self motivated to take ownership over a high growth emerging market for industrial private mobile networks. The successful candidate should have a rich background in 4G/5G mobile networks with the ability to combine this knowledge with customer insights to develop a world class managed private mobile network offer. The candidate should also possess a deep understanding of business market dynamics and be comfortable working in an Agile Product development environment.  An expert collaborator and influencer; you will be responsible for engaging cross-functional teams to deliver the annual plan that will help transform the Industrial IoT portfolio revenue streams.  
What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain customer journey’s for Industrial Network Product portfolio
  • Document and maintain customer value proposition and product feature roadmaps to support
  • Develop and document business cases and secure capital as needed to support roadmaps
  • Meet with customers, business development leads, and technology teams on a regular basis and consolidate/use their input to shape the product strategy

Portfolio Strategy

  • Collaborate with business development and technology teams to update and improve our strategy document for Industrial IoT
  • Update customer needs analysis, market sizing, competitive assessments to identify strategic opportunities that drive successful outcomes for Rogers and our customers
  • Clearly document and articulate industry and customer trends within the portfolio
  • Use market research to help shape the target sectors for industrial networks

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Implement the strategy and necessary initiatives to achieve annual revenue targets
  • Build strong relationships and work with key stakeholders within the sales organization operations and technology to teams
  • Own and ensure all supporting activities related to your portfolio including product training, sales collateral, funnel management, deal support, bid responses and overall engagement
  • Enable business development and sales teams with the tools required to effectively articulate your solutions and help them close deals with ease and confidence

What you bring:

  • Experience in Product Management and Agile methodologies 
  • 5+ years of work experience working with enterprise customers
  • University degree in Business or Engineering or a combination of work experience and education relevant to the role
  • Strong Financial acumen and skills in business case development, forecasting, pricing models, and be able to effectively communicate the value to the business
  • Excellent understanding of business and technology, commercial agreements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration skills working well with others and is able to work effectively with all levels of cross-functional teams
