Reporting to the Director, Automation and Diagnostic Solutions in the Operations Support Systems group, the Technical Delivery Lead will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end Solution Design & Implementation cycle for services delivered through the Rogers network. The Technical Delivery Lead will be the technical SME for the end-to-end design and deployment for reporting analytic services in the various wireless & wireline service domains. 



What will you be doing:

  • Design and develop Jira/Confluence solutions to streamline our processes and drive insights into our network and services to help ensure best customer experience possible
  • Work in a fast-paced environment in a smaller team where you will collaborate with teams across the company to tackle technical challenges
  • Understanding project management for both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Drive best practices and standardization of processes and reporting
  • Listen to the Business units across Rogers to identify areas of improvement/issues, build requirements and implement them.
  • Manage, negotiate, and coordinate with technology and business partners on prioritization and delivery of initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Jira delivery team to support technology teams
  • Manage partnerships with external vendors
  • Work with business primes to evaluate JIRA and Confluence plug-ins, determine licensing needs, and develop test, installation and configuration plans of plug-ins. Work with the server and database teams to assure solid administration of the Linux servers and MS SQL environments supporting Jira
  • Demonstrated ability to lead problem solving using a “hands-on” approach in an ever-changing environment
  • Document standards, guidelines and standard operating procedures for admins/users of the system


What you have:

  • 3+ years experience in both waterfall and Agile/SAFe, ideally in a technology environment
  • High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting and managing capital in a technology environment.
  • Education: graduate or undergraduate university degree in electrical/computer engineering/computer science
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills
  • Capable to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to work on complex problems where analysis requires in-depth evaluation of various factors to determine all options and arrive at the best solution
  • Creative and effective decision making to solve problems/achieve results
  • Solid analytical skills (ability to visualize data and make insights)
