The Device technology and Syndicated Services organization is looking for a manager of Wireless and IoT Devices to drive the technology strategy, roadmap and delivery.


Reporting to the Director of Device Technology and Syndicated Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the future of IoT & FWA device technology at Rogers.


The key responsibilities of the position include: 


  • Develop  and maintain  our fixed wireless and IoT  devices strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead the development of end-to-end solutions for our customers in collaboration with respective Business Units.
  • Establishing Rogers technology leadership in the device and service enablers to build end-to-end IoT services, by maintaining knowledge and experience of vendors’ roadmaps and industry as a whole.
  • New technology introduction for fixed wireless and IoT devices.
  • Introduction of new wireless technology features and services
  • Maintenance of wireless technology requirements document in accordance with cross functional alignment across all team
  • Oversee solution architecture and integration for IoT device management and service enablement platform.
  • Work with device certification teams to define the strategy and test methodology for fixed wireless and IoT device evaluation.
  • Keeping up to date with the fixed wireless and IoT device ecosystem to understand what is available in the industry.
  • Maintain relationships with device and chipset vendors.
  • Coordinate QBRs with key vendors
