Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud DBA who brings both deep technical expertise and strong architectural vision. You should be highly skilled in cloud-native technologies, data security and compliance, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring across complex, distributed systems.
You excel in dynamic environments, simplify complexity, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, cybersecurity, product, and operations.

What you’ll do:
- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of large‑scale cloud solutions with a focus on Oracle cloud database services.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams, ensuring high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable delivery.
- Establish and enforce cloud governance, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Champion secure‑by‑design principles to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and optimize Oracle cloud databases for performance, reliability, and operational alignment.
- Oversee cloud migrations, modernization efforts, and legacy‑to‑cloud transformations with minimal disruption.
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, availability, automation, and cost efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud/database issues and lead incident response and root‑cause analysis in hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.
What you bring
- 8+ years in cloud engineering/architecture with prior Oracle DBA experience supporting solution design and technical leadership.
- Deep expertise across major clouds (Azure, OCI, AWS, GCP) and architecting Oracle workloads in Azure and hybrid OCI/Azure.
- Strong skills in cloud identity, security, and networking, including IPAM/IAM/Entra ID, VNETs, encryption, and secure connectivity for Oracle DBs.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (AKS), containers, and serverless technologies for scalable, cloud‑native solutions.
- Advanced IaC capabilities using Terraform (preferred), Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar tools for consistent cloud/database automation.
- Proven ability to design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automate Oracle database deployments, and integrate DB changes into app delivery workflows.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles including encryption, key/secrets management, vulnerabilities, and compliance for Oracle data.
- Experience optimizing cloud cost, performance, scalability, and resilience for Oracle workloads, with strong communication and cross‑team collaboration skills.
