As an active member of Rogers Communications, you will involved in Video Engineering and Integration programs supporting multiple teams as a Scrum Master.
Responsibilities:
Conduct all Scrum ceremonies – Stand-up meetings, Sprint Demo Sessions, Sprint Retrospective Session, Sprint Backlog Grooming Sessions, Sprint Planning and Sprint. Reporting.
- Facilitate, coach, mentor team members to follow all the agile best practices and create an ideal Agile environment.
- Help the team remove impediments and escalate impediments that are outside of the team's purview and make sure the team is on track through the sprint to achieve the target.
- Communicate with a wide variety of vendors, stakeholders, both business and technical, to ensure value driven delivery and continuous improvement of the team (via implementation of Sprint Retrospective session’s feedback/suggestions).
- Able to work with Product Owners and Client teams to ensure the team has a healthy backlog and prioritize the backlog for upcoming sprints working in collaboration with Product owners.
- Report the timely progress of sprint via burn down/burn up charts and other reporting methods (as per project needs) to PO and stakeholders involved.
- Assessing the team’s velocity and collaboratively setting up the sprint targets accordingly to make sure team is neither overloaded nor under loaded.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience with Video Engineering background.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as SCRUM master with certification.
- Comfortable with tools like JIRA, generating different reports (Burn up/down, velocity etc.)
- Good communication and presentation skills.
Skills & Abilities:
- Prior project management experience.
- Leadership skills and customer interfacing exposure.
- Technical understanding of Video Processing/Broadcasting Technologies a plus.
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
- Scrum Master Certification is a must.
