Senior Director, Platforms, Currency and Application Operations

Reporting to the VP, BSS Engineering and Operations, the Senior Director, Platforms, Currency and Application Operations will lead a team comprised of platform engineering and operations, application operations, ticketing management, and infrastructure and application currency. This is a critical role for the future success of the company and within the IT leadership team. This individual will lead an IT team of approximately 70+ full-time employees, as well as significant outsourced managed services.


What you’ll be doing:

This role is responsible for delivering major platform transformation programs across our consumer wireless and connected home businesses, including executing on our private cloud program and working across all the development teams to ensure adoption of the modern technology stack. You will lead the application operations team for wireless and connected home, lead the pricing management teams, and act as focal for our ticketing management capabilities, liaising with our managed services partners. Further, this role will run a currency program across all of IT and digital, ensuring the hardware and software lifecycle management is adopted and current. 


What you have:

  • You will have extensive program management experience, understanding of on-prem platform infrastructure, experience in application development and/or operations, and will have experience in both agile and waterfall delivery environments. 
  • Proven leadership experience and an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to build strong relationships and deliver results in partnership with technical leaders across the organization.
  • Strong ability to build collaborative relationships and drive business results in a complex matrix and legacy organization.
  • IT Delivery and Operations, leading complex negotiations, be able to solve complex issues with multiple parties,
  • Develop and build high performing teams
