Reporting to the Senior Manager Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing value-add support and operating expense reporting to key client groups within Network, as well as consolidating the reporting, planning, forecasting and budgeting for capital within the Technology business. The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Senior Manager with various reporting, analysis as may be needed. Prior experience in forecasting/planning and management reporting is required. Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills are needed.
What you'll do:

  • Support the month end, forecasting, annual budgets for Network OPEX

  • Support the month end, forecasting and annual budgets for Consolidated Technology CAPEX reporting

  • Prepare and provide value-added analysis to Senior Leadership Team within Finance on a regular and timely basis, communicating key trends, observations and business impacts

  • Participate in the organization’s strategic planning process and maintain an understanding of industry trends, key business/cost drivers, accounting policies etc.

  • Drive continuous improvement within the finance team and supporting peer groups within Technology Finance

  • Special projects as needed


What you'll have:

  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Business or a related discipline.

  • 3 - 5 years of progressive financial experience.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance.

  • A professional accounting designation (CGA/CA/CMA) or current enrollment in a program is preferred.

  • Advanced skills in Access, Excel and Power Point.

  • Proficiency in Oracle Financial Systems & Essbase would be an asset.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated history of engaging with leadership in both the business and finance

  • Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a high-paced performance environment

  • Self-starter possessing the ability to work under minimal supervision in a fluid, dynamic fast-paced, changing work environment and within a team.

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines with accurate and detailed results.
