Rogers is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the design and architecture activities for customer-facing solutions, focused on Private Wireless networks (LTE and 5G) and customer LAN/WAN integration. The Solutions Architect will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team including Sales and Network Engineering to ensure that customer requirements are fully captured, thorough discovery processes completed, and comprehensive and supportable solution designs are created for these complex opportunities. This role will play a key role in supporting the solution implementation and the transition to Technical Support, interfacing and negotiating with many different Rogers teams as needed.


What you will be doing:

  • Act as a technical SME in executing deep-dive discovery of customer environments and use cases
  • Act as technical authority in creating comprehensive solution designs for network integration of Private LTE/5G networks to customer LAN/WAN environments
  • Create solution documentation and provide guidance to implementation teams


What you will bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a technology role
  • 5+ years’ experience in a network architecture role within a complex environment
  • Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining complex network architectures
  • Expertise in LAN/WAN technologies; routing, switching, firewall and high availability solutions
  • Experience with multi-vendor integration and complex environments
  • Experience in a customer-facing delivery role

Education / Certification

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience required
  • Certification in Cisco networking technologies required (CCNP, CCIE)
  • Certification in Fortinet firewall technologies preferred (NSE)
  • Other industry recognized certifications nice to have (ITIL, CISSP, TOGAF, etc)

Office Location is the Brampton, ON Campus but open to any current Rogers location.
