 The successful candidate will be responsible for end to end project management of all aspects of complex cyber security project implementations from initiation through to the transition launch/go live according to the Rogers solution development life cycle. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Cyber Security Program. This is a full time Senior Project Manager position based in Brampton. 

 

Responsibilities:

Accountable for the planning and successful delivery of complex cross functional programs/projects with significant risk and business impact
Identify and manage all milestones and interdependencies to deliver on the Business and Project/Program objectives and targets
Identify obstacles/conflicts and evaluate, recommend and implement workable solutions. 
Escalate issues to the appropriate levels within the organization to mitigate risks and keep schedules on track.
Schedule and host regular project status review meetings.
Provide Management with concise and timely Project/Program reporting on implementation progress, issues, risks and containment plans.
Develop and conduct presentations to various levels of Management as required.
Provide Project Status Reports and Financial updates on Projects/Programs being managed.
Oversee the implementation of project tasks and milestones.
Understand senior management’s business strategy and providing project related recommendations for cost effective solutions/delivery.
Create and manage constructive relationships with team members, subject matter experts, stakeholders and other members of the organization 

 

Required Professional Designation/Certification:

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related
PMP certification, active 
CISSP, CISA, CISM or equivalent security domain certification

 

Required Experience:

7 – 10 years of project management experience for large, complex projects
Experience in information security domains
Expert knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (Waterfall & Agile)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Effective conflict management, negotiation and influencing skills
Expert in Microsoft Project and MS Office tools
Effective cost management and stakeholder management 
Previous project management experience in planning and delivering cyber security driven projects

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in telecommunications industry
Strong preferred experience working with but not limited to: Order Management, Billing, CRM, call centre systems, customer facing web portals and apps, middleware, mediation platforms
Strong preferred experience working with wireless technologies, wireline technologies, cable technologies
Background in networking, electrical engineering, or other technical discipline
