Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Sr Manager, Roaming Capabilities and Platforms, reporting to the Director, National Roaming and Operations. As the Sr Manager, Roaming Capability and Platforms, you will be responsible for defining, advocating, and securing alignment for the strategic direction and operational execution of roaming services, ensuring seamless integration and superior platform capabilities. You will be focused on optimizing roaming capabilities and ensuring platform performance meets business goals and customer needs.
What you’ll do:
- Create and define a comprehensive strategy designed to develop roaming capabilities and platforms to enhance the roaming customer experience.
- Lead initiatives through various forums articulating the strategic plan, tactics and outcomes.
- Influence and drive change by securing alignment across teams and leadership to ensure we are focusing on the right things, the right way.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams to gather requirements and secure alignment with business objectives to steer robust and meaningful outcomes.
- Create dashboards to measure performance of defined KPIs for roaming platforms and services, drive get-well actions to restore plan of record and providing regular updates to senior leadership
- Understand the business, anticipate needs, challenge old habits, ask why and look to continuously improve.
- Build business cases that strengthening benefits of initiatives.
- Build strong relationships across the company to help solve challenges and identify opportunities for
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to leverage new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge to meet customer and business expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement in platform performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Ensure operational efficiency by implementing best practices and streamlining processes for roaming service delivery.
What you bring:
- Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in telecommunications, with focus on wireless, product development, roaming, connectivity or platform management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with audiences at all levels who intuitively anticipates.
- Passion for winning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in building relationship, leading cross-functional teams, navigating complex projects, and driving business outcomes.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of roaming technologies, protocols, industry standards and best practices is an asset.
