Rogers is seeking a Sr. Manager, Solution Management acting as the advisory and focal point of contact that will leverage technology solutions to help our business partners across Rogers to achieve their business objectives. Reporting to the Director of Platform Engineering, at the Rogers Brampton Campus, this individual will direct all aspects of Business Unit Relationship management. The Sr Manager will proactively work with the business stakeholders during the concept creation, budgeting, project specification, business requirements definition stage as well as any requirements for new initiatives.  As a Sr. Manager Solution Management, you will be a trusted advisor to meet business objectives by bringing the technology perspective to the table.



  • Manages team of Solution Managers responsible for the intake, evaluation, coordination, and estimation of all infrastructure requirements of program intake for platform build and deployment

  • Aware of and contributes to business strategic plans and direction and is the relationship lead for a complex line of business or set of portfolios within an operation.

  • Acts as single point of contact for entire line of business, ensuring delivery of all platform engineering commitments and solutions across an operation.

  • Fully participates in line of business or operational company objective decision-making process, communicating business partner needs and plans at leadership levels to ensure alignment with platform strategic direction.

  • Manages team that builds requirements documentation, analyzes opinions, and proposes solutions related to services for complex projects.

  • Oversees service delivery program that identifies appropriate delivery options, providers, and priorities.

  • Builds trusted relationships and effective service delivery programs, resolving tactical conflicts across IT, to better design and implement solutions and achieve business priorities, in partnership with client and delivery organizations.

  • Determines key metrics for evaluating performance relative to SLAs.

  • Determines staffing requirements and may select team members

  • Provide a single accountable and bridging point of contact for both the business and platform.

  • Promote customer advocacy of platform value proposition as an enabler of competitive advantage through technology not as an order taker.


Experience & Education

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5 or more years of relationship management and/or leadership experience.

  • Experience in managing teams


Technical Skills

  • Communicates effectively with meaningful and articulate verbal discussions.  Creates clear and coherent written materials.

  • Synthesizes information into succinct, concise and logical summaries and reports.

  • Demonstrated experience with a variety of Project Management Business Process Management and Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
