Sr Portfolio Analyst & Comms

Who you are:
This role supports the department by driving communication strategies, enabling training, and fostering collaboration with partners and internal teams to boost productivity. You will manage the portfolio life cycle, develop and deliver communications that highlight departmental achievements and value, and act as the department’s ambassador across Rogers.

 

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Write, Edit and produce communications for Internal and External audiences, like presentations, briefing documentations, internal articles and employee communications, messages and emails.
  • Continually improve, measure, and evaluate effectiveness of employee communication strategy and methods
  • Development of communication plan, timelines and defined deliverables that support the communication of internal messages, which help the department shape culture, drive engagement and deliver results.
  • Support internal social media communications to deliver a strong employee and value proposition. Includes Microsoft Teams and SharePoint management.
  • Create specific communications action plans, timelines, and defined deliverables to support the communication of Key Department Projects or Programs.
  • This person will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly leadership meeting, quarterly Town Hall meeting, and monthly Partners meeting.
  • Support the creation, maintenance and management of project schedules and/or dashboards to support the department portfolio, like: monthly portfolio reporting, roadmaps, sub-portfolio reporting
  • Prepare internal and external teams and leaders to support and adopt new, more effective ways to interact including changes to processes, systems, capabilities, and culture
  • Leading & assisting in the development of training materials associated with updated operational processes
  • Develop and issue reporting for training and organizational change management effectiveness
     


 

What you bring:

  • Technical skills in SharePoint admin, Graphic design using tools such as Adobe Creative or Photoshop
  • Experience in IT project delivery
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to support your clients’ projects and goals (could include blogs, executive summaries, launch postings) samples of work required
  • Interaction with Department leadership, providing advice on comms, that shows you understand their team, strategy, and leadership style.
  • This person will be working with director and VPs.
  • Ability to work autonomously within the ability to pivot as the business requires.
  • Capable of self-directing and taking the initiative to deliver outcomes
  • Ability to provide references on internal communication experience and writing samples if requested
  • Clear, creative, and strategic thinker
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills 
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Three to Five years of IT industry/related experience
