Reporting to the Manager, Opex Planning, the Sr Analyst, Resource Management will work in close partnership with our HR teams to map functional roles requirements, current competence and create resource modeling based on work-load to ensure appropriate dimensioning.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for modeling, developing & maintaining capacity plans and actively supporting requirements and resource demands of Access Networks. The Sr Analyst will develop and publish reports working closely with project primes, delivery primes & various stakeholders.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Act as the engine driving data and modeling for Access Networks resource dimensioning, competence mapping, outsourcing initiatives and automation
  • Develop models, scenarios and other methodologies for resource dimensioning based on work load/competence
  • Support the implementation of the Tactical Delivery Plan within Access Networks.
  • Design and maintain simulation models that effectively reflect current business assumptions while ensuring flexibility to change key input variables
  • Assist in the building and maintenance of bottom up fact based and data driven forecasting models
  • Standardize metrics, capacity criteria, templates & dashboards
  • Support the team in creating processes to ensure adherence to data integrity and reliability within the tool sets
  • Partner with Access organizations, leading the creation of job families, career paths and dimensioning capabilities to ensure appropriate knowledge sharing, and to identify & mitigate roadblocks to success.

 

QUALIFICATIONS /COMPETENCIES:

  • 5+ years of professional and telecom industry experience
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Very strong mathematical and computer background: extensive knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint (Microsoft products suite) is required
  • Strong background in Human Resouces who deals in headcount forecasting, demand and workforce planning, resource utilization and career path mapping.
  • Strong applied knowledge and experience in Database, Oracle, VBA Scripting, Design and maintenance
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and to turn concepts into plans
  • Kaizen certification preferred
