Who we're looking for:

The Rogers Corporate Commissions & Settlements team is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to work with our product managers, business stakeholders, architects, developers, test teams, and vendors to elicit requirements and solutions that support the ongoing evolution of application landscape.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the assessment of business needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommends options, risks, and cost vs. benefits
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional development teams to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for new projects, system enhancements, or process improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for IT development teams.
  • Create and maintain process flowcharts, data models, and other visual representations to illustrate current and proposed solution.
  • Assist in the design of technology solutions that align with business requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives, status, and issues
  • Document and Present findings and recommendations to management concisely.
  • Work with various business and delivery teams ensuring good, solid, well written requirements that allow IT delivery teams to create solutions that align to the requirements
  • Create and maintain requirements specification document, use cases and process models. 
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address vulnerabilities and mitigate risks
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions while actively contributing to process improvement and organizational efficiency

 

What you bring:

  • University Degree (preferably in computer science, Engineering or Information Technology)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (this experience should include a proven track record of successfully managing projects)
  • Possesses leading edge technical knowledge
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Knowledge of Oracle DB, SQL Server, SQL, ETL and Azure cloud technologies. 
  • A solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile and Waterfall), and integration methods.
  • An in-depth understanding of business processes, industry trends, and the ability to align technology solutions with long-term business goals.
  • Nice to have : Certification such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you!
