Rogers is seeking for an experienced Senior Business System Analyst to integrate into the Oracle eBiz ERP Team. The selected individual will work within the larger Corporate IT department to support projects and programs in the Finance, Supply Chain and Procurement space to cover the Techno Functional aspects. Ability to deliver in a professional, and timely manner in alignment to the overall strategic roadmaps is considered a key component of the profile. The ideal candidate will influence the E2E solution and will ensure that the built solutions take into consideration the Business Case and objectives. We are looking for an eager, quick learning individual that will not only support our systems but also play a lead role as we build and enhance existing processes in a very fast paced environment.  The candidate is expected to engage and work with our business partners to solve complex problems, work on large project enhancements and Transformation, document and provide technical expertise that aligns with our strategic roadmap, and enterprise architecture templates.  The candidate will also work with peer IT personnel, teams, and vendors to do as required.


 Typical Responsibilities 

  • Leads sessions with the business stakeholders to solicit Functional Requirements, analyze them and determine the real Business needs, document them in measurable terms.
  • Assess the requirements to determine impacts to the End to End solution. Identify Options and facilitate ranking and cost/benefit presentations including pros/cons and impacts impact to established Processes and Operations in order to support the decisions.
  • Lead feasibility analysis, solution design and joint architecture sessions, being accountable to drive the overall High-Level design with all stakeholders in alignment covering both technical and Functional aspects.
  • Ability to explain complex ideas and make technical and general presentations to peers/Directors/VP levels to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide business consultancy, and change proposals in the complete Oracle eBiz Suite from Order Management to Warehouse Management, Inventory Management to Distribution Management, Manufacturing Management and  Supply Chain Planning, Finance: AP, OTL,FA, GL, Procurement: PO, INV,  and related modules focusing on Oracle’s E-Business Suite 12.2.10 and integrated applications.
  • Provide consulting support within their functional area of expertise while actively seeking ways to apply system technology to business processes. This includes research and identification of enabling functionality based on customer requirements.
  • Identifies business risks where these could have a significant impact and ensures that these are properly understood, managed, and socialized up-and-down cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, competing, or vague requirements while maintaining positive relationships in moving the projects/programs forward.
  • Has a deep technical understanding of area of specialization within the eBiz Suite and is a source of technical advice to the Corporate team.
  • Functional engagement in all complex ERP impacting processes and programs
  • Produces complex documentation with original narrative e.g. methods of procedures, solution and architecture proposals, aligning business processes with systems out-of-box processes, etc.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Documentation Standards: MD50, MD 70,…
  • Demonstrated and proven experience with Oracle EBS 12.1+, WMS, Planning, Inventory Management, and Financials and Procurement within Canada;
  • Create and be accountable and responsible for project artifacts, including High Level Design, Architecture, ICSU, Project Governance, and Steering Committee documentation where required.
  • Lead and chair solution design and joint architecture design sessions where required.
  • Drive solution design sessions to ensure industry best-practices, or with a minimal amount of customization to the ERP system.
  • Extreme positive attitude and committed to deliver within the established timelines
  • Extensive experience with both Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies

Experience & Education

  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience
  • Oracle ERP Certifications is an asset
  • PMP Certification is an asset
  • Experience in leading, driving, and implementing complex Transformation ERP programs.
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or relevant experience.
  • Requires in-depth technical knowledge across Supply Chain systems and processes as well as Finance treatment and Procurement

Technical Skills

  • Communicates effectively with meaningful and articulate verbal discussions.
  • The ability to express ideas, thoughts and information logically and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Desire to learn new technologies to support new SAAS Application, or on-premise to cloud frameworks.
  • Knowledgeable in requirement tools such as JIRA, and MS Office suites.
  • Strongly preferred experience in working with ERP technologies including but not limited to Oracle EBS
  • Knowledge of infrastructure concepts
  • Internal experience within Rogers and knowledge of Rogers IT organization and processes strongly preferred, or relevant telecommunications experience.
