Rogers is seeking a Sr. Delivery Lead within its Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) team. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills around agile & waterfall delivery for data & analytics related business capabilities using cloud technologies. The incumbent will be an integral part of the ED&A team and will ensure delivery of programs, projects, and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. What you will be doing:

  • Collaboratively manage delivery of agile and waterfall team and medium to large scale enterprise projects with complex IT architecture and landscape involving numerous vendors, clients, virtual and offshore teams.
  • Actively participating in scrums and meetings and expanding the technical capabilities of the team. Lead the design and delivery of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet business objectives while also maintaining existing applications ensuring they tie into the approved business & technology roadmaps.
  • Manage and be proactive in reporting, resolving and escalating issues where required.
  • Manage personnel utilization and contribute towards department capitalization targets.
  • Provide operational support for issues impacting application/data availability, stability & performance. Be instrumental in managing and communicating customer impact.
  • Drive towards adoption and maturity towards modern and Agile ways of working.
  • Builds trusted relationships throughout IT organization and Business to enable delivery of business requirements.


What you have:

  • 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with application development teams managing Business Intelligence & Data warehousing projects and programs.
  • End-to-end solution delivery experience of an entire development cycle from concept to deployment and monitoring of applications, procurement engagement and vendor management
  • Formal Project Management training or Agile certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodology and best practices (e.g. Agile/Scrum/Kanban)
  • Proficient with Agile development management tools (JIRA, and Confluence preferred).
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Azure considered a definite asset.
  • Be flexible to understand and balance timelines, technical challenges with legacy data and constraints.
  • Effective communicator both oral and written, with the ability to frame technology issues in business terms
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with aptitude for achieving results.
  • Ability to work independently to meet project requirements.
  • Deep technical expertise and strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
  • Telecom industry experience is preferred
  • Experience working with outsourced and offshore teams


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
