Rogers is seeking a Sr. DevOps Lead within its Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) team . The incumbent will be an integral part of the ED&A team and will be responsible to provide platform related DevOps functions, incident management leadership, capability development and admin activities. He / She will also oversee operational activities and be instrumental in managing & communicating customer impact.

 

 What you will be doing:

  • Provide platform related DevOps functions, incident management leadership, capability development and admin activities on designated platforms, including but not limited to SAS-Grid, SAS-Viya, SAS CI & SAS CI 360.
  • Support build out of new business solutions & evolution of existing functionalities ensuring they tie into the approved business & technology roadmaps.
  • Manage and be proactive in reporting, resolving and escalating issues where required.
  • Closely work with on-stie & off-site vendors’ resources. Review, provide guidance, coaching and support and ensure smooth delivery and operations with quality and with defined SLAs.
  • Provide operational & admin support for issues impacting application/data availability, stability & performance. Be instrumental in managing and communicating customer impact.
  • Drive towards adoption and maturity towards modern and Agile ways of working.

 

What you have:

  • Experience with SAS CI 360 and SAS CI suite highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience on SAS administration (SAS-Grid/SAS-Viya/SAS-CI)
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in operational, DevOps and/or incident management and resolution roles with platform SME/admin capabilities.
  • Strong understanding & experience supporting CAS.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Azure considered a definite asset.
  • Prior experience with projects involving Hadoop and cloud data technologies is considered an asset.
  • Understanding of telecom / cable information domains is an asset.
