Rogers is seeking a Sr. DevOps Lead to play a key role in solving complex business problems by turning data into actionable insights through conceptualizing, designing, developing and testing analytical solutions as required.

Reporting to the Manager – BI & Corporate Reporting of Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) at the Rogers Park Brampton and Toronto Campuses this individual will be responsible for Solution Design and Development of BI Projects.

This individual will be expected to lead the successful delivery of several simultaneous projects working collaboratively with multiple business units, IT teams and external partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Review of solution designs and code to conform to Rogers’ SDLC standards and gating processes.
  • Design & Develop Data Warehouse ETLs and reports to meet project needs.
  • Participate in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions to create / review solution designs.
  • Drive value-added decision through requirements and design phases of projects to align with Rogers’ strategic goals.
  • Overseeing vendor delivery of solution design and code to follow standards.
  • Driving Process and Tool improvements to optimize Rogers’ operations and cost efficiencies.
  • Develop solution standards for code, documentation and designs to ensure best in class solutions.
  • Manage relationships and expectations with Stakeholders.
  • Lead and participate in teams to meet fast-paced deliverables with quality and efficiency.
  • Mentoring Rogers’ employees (SME knowledge, industry best practices, design standards)

What You Need to Have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Data Warehouse experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Informatica Developer & scripting experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Azure Databricks & scripting experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Operations \ Production Support.
  • Proficient with SQL queries, query optimization and table design.
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple high priority projects \ deliverables.
  • Knowledge of Data Modeling as asset
  • Knowledge of Telecom Industry an asset.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx an asset.
  • Ability to work and lead teams and projects.
  • Strong Communication. (Oral & Written)
