We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Senior Developer who is passionate about building modern digital solutions and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and have a strong foundation in both backend and frontend technologies. As a senior member of the team, you are a natural mentor, collaborative partner, and technical leader who can influence solution design, drive best practices, and help teams deliver high-quality enterprise-scale applications.
 

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, test, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, digital partners, product owners, and Agile Scrum teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Architect and develop applications using modern development frameworks, programming languages, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Design, develop, and integrate RESTful and SOAP-based web services and APIs.
  • Create prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to validate ideas and accelerate delivery.
  • Leverage third-party libraries, development frameworks, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and innovation.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimations, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Lead code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards, security requirements, and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and coaching to developers, consultants, and external partners.
  • Identify technical risks, recommend solutions, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps practices to improve software quality, automation, and deployment processes.
  • Partner effectively with globally distributed teams to deliver enterprise-wide technology solutions.
  • Explore and incorporate AI-powered development tools and Generative AI capabilities into modern application solutions where appropriate.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale applications in an Agile environment.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Java, J2EE, Spring Boot
    • REST and SOAP Web Services
    • Angular (18+), React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Experience with source control and build tools including:
    • Git
    • Maven
    • Bitbucket
    • Nexus
    • Artifactory
  • Proficiency with modern development tools such as IntelliJ IDEA and Visual Studio.
  • Experience creating user interfaces and prototypes using Figma.
  • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (AKS) and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience working with Docker, Jenkins, Nginx, and Unix/Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Quantum Metric, and Adobe Analytics.

AI & Modern Development Skills

  • Experience utilizing GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and accelerate delivery.
  • Understanding of Generative AI technologies, including Microsoft OpenAI, Google Gemini, and other AI platforms.
  • Familiarity with integrating AI capabilities and services into modern application architectures.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, and lead development teams.
  • Experience conducting code reviews and providing technical direction.
  • Excellent planning, estimation, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams and multiple stakeholders.
