Seeking Sr. Application Support Specialist in the area of Identity and Access Management.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Cyber Security IAM Production Support at Brampton Campus this individual will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Day-to-day production support oversight, maintenance, operation, configuration and customization of  identity  security platform Support  of social login and cloud based technologies for Rogers Customers
  • Maintenance and support of LDAP based Directory Services (not to be confused with Microsoft AD)
  • Support of Identity Management and Account Provisioning including life-cycle operations.
  • 3rd level application support and assistance for the on-call personnel (in rotation)
  • Collaboration with the DevOps team on design and development of new solutions
  • Liaison with other IT groups to ensure  systems operation and capacity planning requirements are met
  • Participate in and contribute to application implementation activities during maintenance activities and application releases
  • Actively contribute to platform monitoring and housekeeping
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration and operating procedures
  • Develop new and maintain existing support automation solutions based on Java, Pearl, Python, .NET
  • Collaborate with vendors on technical support issues and future upgrade needs.

 

Experience & Education:

  • A recognized under-graduate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related discipline
  • Must have minimum 5 years in the server-side application support role.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Must have working knowledge of Directory Services, LDAP protocol and LDAP related operations
  • Experience in working with Apache Web Servers or equivalent web server operations.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating Systems is required
  • Good working knowledge of Windows Server OS
  • Must have excellent Shell scripting skills
  • Strong experience in server-side application and systems troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of SAML and OID based authentication
  • Must have experience in Identity Management
  • Must have experience in in Single Sign On
  • Good understanding of basic networking technologies i.e. LB, WAF, etc
