Rogers is seeking a Sr. Manager for Cyber Security Delivery to join the Information Cyber Security Unit.  Reporting to the Director Identity & Access Management, at the Rogers Park Brampton Campus, this individual will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of features, enhancements and projects related to security and specifically Identity and Access Management.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Manage, negotiate, and coordinate within technology, and business stakeholders on prioritization of tactical and strategic technology initiatives, as well as monitor the entire project process.
  • End-to-end delivery of features, enhancements and projects related to security and specifically Identity and Access Management.
  • Work with other team members to identify and justify investment opportunities.
  • Provide estimates and High-Level Solutions as part of project life cycle.
  • Work directly with business owners to define requirements for all project methodologies.
  • Implement processes, best practices, and tools allowing for multiple paths of delivery. i.e., create simplified, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible solutions.
  • Recommend improvements and drive alignment across the landscape for Rogers.
  • Identify new automation opportunities based on data driven analysis.
  • Lead and influence others on best practices.
  • Manage partnerships with external vendors and accountabilities from those vendors to Rogers.
  • Manage the team of Developers in the Information Cyber Security Unit to guide and lead on implementing the technical roadmap.
  • Will be responsible to establish a code quality processes for delivery, code control and sustainability.

 

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • 10+ years of Software Development Management experience managing increasing project size and complexity; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience in Technical Project Managment.
  • Technical background in Software Development with Internet technologies and tools and XML integration, including XML-Schema, XML-RPC, XML-SOAP, and/or Web Services/SOA Solutions and messaging protocols such as JSON, REST, SOAP
  • IAM Background with experience on single sign-on solutions, identity federation (SAML 2.0 Web SSO Profile), directory integration and/or design and industry standards such as SAML, OpenID, OAuth
  • Knowledge of Identity provisioning with SCIM, SailPoint IAM products and Akamai identity cloud (Janrain) IAM products.
  • Working knowledge of key technical concepts such as modern backend applications, cloud-based systems, web services etc.
  • End-to-end management of an entire development cycle from concept to deployment and monitoring of applications, procurement engagement and vendor management
  • Proficient with Agile development management tools (JIRA, and Confluence)
  • Experience working with outsourced and offshore teams and able to work in hours that is in synch with the offshore teams
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and negotiation skills with ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical professionals.
