Rogers is seeking a Sr. M365 Specialist to provide technical support across Active Directory, Azure AD and Office 365, including Exchange and associated services. Reporting to the Manager M365 at the Brampton campus, the Senior AD/Office365 Administrator will work with members of the IT Services and operations teams to provide ongoing support for users and infrastructure services.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Function as an in-house expert in proactively monitoring and managing the O365 environment on a day-to-day basis.
  • Apply enhancements and fixes as needed to maintain optimal performance and security.
  • Provide second-tier support during and after migrations; administer the O365, ADFS, and OneDrive portals.
  • Ensure support is available and act as the escalation point for the O365 environment.
  • Maintain on-call availability 24/7 to handle elevated emergencies that cannot be resolved by lower-level administrators.
  • Lead the onboarding and configuration of enterprise and third-party applications into Azure AD SSO using SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Collaborate with application owners and vendors to gather integration requirements and ensure secure federation.
  • Maintain and monitor SSO certificates, tokens, and metadata to ensure uninterrupted authentication flows.
  • Troubleshoot SSO issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and external partners.
  • Administer Azure AD PIM for role-based, time-bound access to Tier 0 and Tier 1 resources.
  • Configure approval workflows, MFA enforcement, and just-in-time access policies for privileged roles.
  • Monitor and audit PIM activity logs, role assignments, and access reviews to ensure compliance.
  • Support emergency access account management and ensure alignment with Microsoft’s security operations guidance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for architecture, performance tuning, and technologies related to O365 and collaboration.
  • Work with vendor technical teams to deploy software and patches that integrate with and enhance corporate systems.
  • Utilize analytical skills and Microsoft technology expertise to support Active Directory, ADFS, OneDrive, EOP, and Exchange in a high-availability environment.
  • Develop and update system administration procedures and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with developers, storage administrators, and server administrators to ensure cohesive operations.
  • Facilitate change in the environment by working within the framework of a formal change control process.

 

What you bring:

  • Minimum 8-10 years software/hardware technical support experience in large infrastructures supporting
  • Microsoft Directory Services, M365, AD Connect, Azure Application Proxy, ADFS, SSO, File services, Exchange and Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 environments (30k+ user)
  • Extensive knowledge of Multi-factor Authentication, SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID,  
  • Must have experience working with Microsoft technical support teams
  • Extensive Experience with Azure AD, AD Connect, ADFS, EOP, Office 365 and Microsoft Cloud platform
  • Familiar with DNS, WINS, and DHCP
  • Extensive knowledge of PowerShell and scripting

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you!
