As part of Rogers Network PMO Transformation - Continuous Process Improvement team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading process definition, development and implementation activities aimed at increasing the efficiency and productivity of our national workforce through process, tool and people change management.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the Process Champion (usually Director level) and working team through discovery, implementation, and deployment phases of multi department process initiatives
- Define the strategy for and facilitate working sessions consisting of various levels of management and practitioners.
- Determine the most effective approach for reaching agreement in a timely manner on contentious organizational issues impeding successful deployment of process initiatives
- Identify and present the key business issues requiring agreement by senior management to enable a process to be institutionalized
- Lead organizational continuous improvement and change management activities required to institutionalize process initiatives including providing training and identifying process improvement metrics
- Lead cross-functional working teams to deliver process and continuous improvements to increase customer satisfaction, improve quality and reduce operating costs, specifics include:
- Develop and obtain consensus on problem statements
- Work with front line to senior members of the Technology and Access Network organization
- Discovery and Analysis of existing processes within the Access Network and Technology organization
- Gather data, investigating cause-effect relationships, develop and obtain consensus on a suitable process design.
- Effectively facilitate process-mapping sessions to create “As-Is” and “To-be” process maps
- Collect, analyze, review, document, and communicate business needs and requirements.
- Ensure that business requirements are clearly identified, prioritized and satisfied by appropriate technical and or business process solutions
- Act as the liaison between OSS and the business clients
- Lead definition of test cases, validate business functionality and the overall solution delivery, and may be directly involved in the implementation test process
- Benchmark processes with comparable organizations
- Learn and understand the tools and applications which support the business process within the Access Network Organization

What you'll bring:
- Specialization in Process Management / Telecommunications / Systems & Application Development/ Business Management
- Strong customer focus and sensitivity to customer needs
- Advanced communication, consensus building, presentation and writing skills
- Demonstrated ability and experience working with cross-functional teams, both horizontally and vertically diverse
- Excellent people skills, whether 1:1 or in a group environment
- Project Management experience, PMP certification an asset
- Working knowledge of formal methodologies, such as Six Sigma and Lean Principles, LSS Blackbelt trained or certified
- Practiced Requirements Management experience
- Process Management experience including process mapping
- Strong statistical analysis and analytical skills
- Familiarity with telecommunications technologies
- Familiarity with either ITIL, eTOM or CMMi an asset
- Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
