The Technical Solutions Lead is a full-time position. This role can be based in any city with a Rogers business office. This role is primarily focused on post-sales implementation of complex projects but will provide opportunity for variety and growth depending on your skills and initiative.

 

As a successful candidate, you be part of the Rogers nationwide business delivery team, bringing solutions to life and enabling a customer experience beyond expectations. What you'll be doing:

  • Participating in technical reviews of complex and non-standard opportunities, assessing solutions for completeness and feasibility
  • Providing technical expertise to discussions with sales, customers, and delivery teams
  • Ensuring customer environments and requirements are well understood and assisting with development of supportable solutions
  • Participating as a senior part of an implementation team, creating documentation, and executing on go-live plans
  • Applying technical knowledge to resolving complex customer implementation problems, resourcefully developing innovative approaches and solutions
  • Demonstrating sound appreciation of Industry and business principles
  • Identifying business risks and ensuring they are properly understood and
  • Demonstrating ability to manage conflict and uncertainty while maintaining positive relationships


Required Professional Designation/Certification:

Post-Secondary degree in Engineering, IT or other technical discipline - or - equivalent combination of education and experience
Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Meraki ECMS, Fortinet NSE and ITIL preferred. Any other industry certifications an asset.
 

What you bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the telecommunication or networking industry    
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with routing, switching, security and multi-vendor LAN and WAN network integration
  • Experience with SD-WAN, Cloud Technologies, Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet product suites
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Experience in customer-facing environments, strong customer service and satisfaction focus
  • Conflict management, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Bilingual English and French an asset but not required
