Reporting to the Manager Partnerships and Innovations , The Technology Solution Designer is a key technical role within the Rogers network organization. We are looking for a professional with technology understanding and ready to be exposed across multiple network domains.  Plus also have the business acumen to help lead the development and delivery of innovation solutions, working collaboratively with our strategic partners, technology stakeholders, and business teams. 

 

Duties:

  • Serve as a technology lead to manage and collaborate on various initiatives our strategic partners
  • Support partnership activities and draw commercially relevant insights from emerging industry trends, technologies, and business models.
  • Lead the development of new use cases, offering detail specifications, and help promote the delivery of innovation offerings
  • Overlook projects spanning multiple partnerships and ensure cross functional alignment, scope definition, and executional plans
  • Integration of partners’ products, testbeds and solutions into Rogers 5G Network environment
  • Work closely with Business and Technology stakeholders – Product development, Engineering designs, plans and implementation
  • Support Marketing lead technology demonstrations of new applications, services, and use cases
  • Opportunities for presenting material to internal business and technology stakeholders, as well as external clients and partners
  • Preparing impactful presentations on products and solutions and present in front of internal and external partners
  • Technology Summits organization and hosting (agenda preparation and teams coordination)
  • Influent Internal and External stakeholders to be found and adopted best solution based on their needs and requirements
  • Effectively communicate and clearly present to senior leadership
  • Drive Roadmap changes on key strategic products  

 

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years experience in telecom industry
  • Understanding Waterfall and Scrum project delivery
  • With good knowledge of overall telecom industry and business use cases
  • Proactive and open for new learning opportunities
  • Ready to follow up on industry trends, standards, vendor ecosystem, publications and media
  • Understanding in technology, engineering, innovations, and telecom
  • Familiar with leading vendor/suppliers product roadmaps (Ericsson, Cisco, MS Azure, AWS, Nokia, HPe, Qualcomm, etc)
  • Strong understanding in LTE and NR technology
  • Experience in MEC, Cloud and Hyperscalar’s Architecture and suppliers
  • Expert knowledge in E2E Network components, such as: Radio Access, IP routing, Core components and mobile devices ecosystem.

  • Self initiative, good grasp of current and longer term goals
  • Mentor new colleagues and university graduates.
