Tech Hub QE team is currently seeking unusually talented and experienced resource for the role of Test Data/Cloud Lead

You will work with development, quality engineers, and non-prod environment stakeholders to design and develop creative Test Data Management on-Cloud

The successful candidates will be part of a fast-paced quality engineering team responsible for transforming existing test processes to support Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), implementing DevOps processes, and designing solution for Test Data Management and Virtualization.

The role aims to bring a Cloud mindset to continuously innovate, improve, and evolve Rogers’ Cloud environments through Automation.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with SDETs and Developers to create the successful solutions that enables smooth Cloud adoption.
  • Work with SDETs and Developers to implement CI/CD pipeline
  • Adopt the transformation (driven by Development) of existing On-Prem environments into Blue/Green Cloud environment. Perform Blue/Green Prove Of Concepts and evaluate new technological Cloud developments.
  • Work with non-production environment team on high-level design of the Test Data Management and Virtualization solution in the Integrated environment.
  • Explore solution alternatives for Data Management and Virtualization (Postman) in the Development Environment; provide recommendations and drive the Data transformation there
  • Define solution for Development and QA environments that will support the Microservices deployment (Jenkins, AWS). Communicate requirements for interactions with solution context.
  • Work with other teams (e.g. development, quality engineers, 3rd party Vendor, and non-prod environment stakeholders) to recommend, develop, and deploy for the future needs of the organization.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Strong Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid background
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD delivery
  • Extensive experience in Cloud Fundamentals, Cloud concept, and Cloud Automation
  • Strong knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Data Virtualization, and test data management (Oracle, Azure, GenRocket, Delphix)
  • Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture and Container technology – Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure As Code (IaC)
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum/Lean/SAFe methodologies (SAFe Certificate is preferable)
  • Familiar with DevOps Practices and API Gateways
