Rogers is embarking on a path to transform our wireless and wireline network and improve connectivity with 5G to major cities and also the rural and underserved communities of BC. This exciting multi-year program entails working with all levels of government and the private sector to maximize our capital infrastructure upgrades that will ultimately ensure our customers are connected wherever they are. That said, we are looking for a qualified individual to manage projects and be a part of our Real Estate and Municipal Affairs team in BC to help Rogers be the best network in the Country.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate our multi-year program with various stakeholders to ensure documents are organized, reports are accurate and updates to relevant projects are maintained for the department.
  • Manage and record keep agreements, licences and all other relevant documents for the department.
  • Issue PO's as required and provide regular updates on completion of work
  • Liaise and communicate verbally and in writing with other departments internally as well as external groups such as landlords, lawyers, municipalities, developers and other professionals.
  • Collaborate with the project manager and other parties, to collate information and necessary documentation for project delivery and site implementation.
  • Responsible for composing effective, concise renewal notices; preparing preliminary market analysis to determine fair market value;
  • Perform activities related to property administration functions including follow up and coordination of landlord complaints related to property damage, key and access issues, maintenance issues, snow removal and meter installations
  • Manage numerous projects at one time.
  • Resolve issues with landlords as required.
  • Update a variety of monthly tracking reports.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • College diploma or University degree in the area of land use planning, real estate law, real estate development, or a related field.
  • 1 to three years experience  administering real estate contracts
  • Legal/legal assistant background an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Customer focused and solution oriented.
  • Excellent judgment and proven decision-making ability.
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry an asset.
  • Strong multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Computer literate with fluency in software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, Salesforce and other database applications.

 

As a condition of hire, all new employees will be required to provide proof of vaccinations against COVID 19. Any request for an exception under Human Rights legislation must be supported by evidence to be considered by Rogers on a case by case basis.
