Reporting to the National Digital Creator and Content Manager, in this role you’ll have a passion for music and be responsible for shaping the social voice, tone and creation of digital content for our Music Brands nationally like KiSS 92.5, SONIC, Jack & Rock brands nationally. You’ll also work with our Branded Content & Integration team to support the creation of digital content for advertisers


What you will do…

  • Create engaging social content that is innovative, on-brand and optimized for Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc. and other digital platforms (apps, website, etc.)
  • Write newsletters
  • Produce, shoot, write, edit and package a range of video, digital and social assets
  • Write, edit and create written content for websites
  • Create and update social calendars for each station to include content, branded content and promotions.
  • Monitor, track, and optimize daily content as part of an always-on content strategy
  • Facilitate community management on social platforms by engaging with our audience, moderating discussions, and fielding questions
  • When required, work with Branded Content & Integration team to develop digital content that aligns with client brief and editorial requirements


What you will bring…

  • A multimedia creator and storyteller who will produce high-quality content
  • Strong editorial judgement
  • You stay current on emerging social media trends and strategies, ensuring you maintain a progressive approach to producing social and video content
  • Ability to write must-click headlines and understand good social content that appeals to followers and viewers
  • Understanding of end-to-end content development, management of digital production, distribution, performance and measurement
  • Ability to move forward on a task with sometimes minimal direction, but know when to stop and ask questions
  • Comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite Software; namely Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects
  • Real world videography and production experience an asset
  • Examples of relevant completed projects is required
