Joining the OSS Element Management Systems (EMS) and Security team opens the door to a dynamic environment filled with professional growth opportunities. Our team is dedicated to managing and optimizing network elements through advanced management platforms that enable our technology teams to actively monitor, configure, and maintain network performance. Whether you’re integrating complex systems, automating workflows, or aligning operational needs with EMS platforms, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of network reliability and security.
Location: We are open to hire for our Montreal, Calgary and Brampton location.
What you'll do:
- Drive the implementation and support of Element Management System (EMS) solutions by analyzing requirements, configuring platforms, and ensuring seamless integration with network infrastructure.
- Execute EMS upgrades and patching to maintain system currency, stability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot EMS applications to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
- Perform gap analysis in network element lifecycle management and automation frameworks, and engineer scalable solutions to remediate identified deficiencies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align network management initiatives with operational and business goals.
- Develop and maintain EMS documentation, and deliver technical expertise across related projects and workflows.

What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Expert-level Linux/Unix administration skills for EMS platform management and troubleshooting.
- Working experience with Element Management Systems, IP networking, SNMP, and software lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) and foundational security best practices for system hardening.
- Proven experience in system upgrades and patch management for EMS and related platforms.
- Understanding of OSS/BSS concepts and network architecture.
- Ability to apply analytical reasoning and evidence-based decision-making in technical discussions.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Shell) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
