We are looking for a Part Time Traffic Anchor to join our CityNews team in Calgary!

 

Are you motivated by and enthusiastic about helping people get to where they need to be? Are you a passionate on-air performer who knows Calgary’s traffic patterns and routes well?  If so, CityNews 660 has a great opportunity for someone looking for a chance to get their foot in the door of a major market radio station.

 

What you will do…

  • Deliver live traffic reports on CityNews 660, “every ten minutes on the 1’s” during weekends and other shifts, as needed.
  • Focus on the most important traffic routes in Calgary, helping as many listeners as you can
  • Provide understanding, comfort and entertainment through your relatable on-air reports
  • Support your teammates by communicating major traffic issues to the newsroom
  • Answer the phones and take traffic reports from our audience
  • Update traffic issues on our social media channels in a professional way
