The Senior Manager, Managed Services for Rogers Business is a critical role that is responsible for developing Rogers’ managed services business, specifically growing the customer base and revenues of Rogers Business Managed Services, and identifying all Rogers Business managed services offerings (from internal and external (partner) sources), identifying gaps to Rogers’ Business managed services offerings, working with Rogers Business Product and Customer Service Operations for go-to-market readiness of these new products and developing a managed services proposition.
What you will do:
- Develop the Managed Service business and team, specifically driving national customer and revenue development for managed services in Rogers Business
- Own sales growth to targets, including customer and opportunity identification, funnel development, sales team capability and closing business
- Develop national alliances with regional sales teams supporting education, training and development of sales people to help uncover managed services opportunities, working as a liaison to both drive and support the regional sales team in developing opportunities
- Work with Product to develop a complete managed service offering, including capabilities that currently exist through Rogers existing business and through partner relationships, and identifying the gaps to complete a competitive managed services market offering
- Work with existing and new Rogers partners to complete the managed services offerings, specifically in areas where Rogers is incapable of or unable to develop those solutions
- Work with CSO (Customer Service Operations) to ensure readiness to deliver managed services offerings
- Develop a go-to-market managed services proposition based on existing products and services, and the roadmap to develop future products and services
What you will bring:
- Minimum 5-10 years experience in Wireless and/or telecom industry, with proven success driving new business in the Medium to Large corporate accounts arena.
- Knowledge, experience and sales success in managed services, either with a carrier, equipment provider, systems integrator or service provider would be an asset
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Advanced degree an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and grow c-suite and other senior level relationships within key clients.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding assigned quotas selling into prospect accounts.
- Solid understanding of wireless, data and telecom products and services.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong account planning skills.
- An innovative thinker with skill in generating solutions that meet customer needs.
- Self-starter with ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing work environment.
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- University Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is a must.
- Comfortable with daily travel (GTA area).
