We’re looking for a…Promotions & Integrations Manager located out of our Edmonton office and reporting to the Senior Promotions and Integration Manager. This role will be focused on every capacity that makes a promotions and integrations department run smoothly. You know and love the media business and will be the primary conduit between SONiC 102.9 and KiSS 91.7 Programming, Sales, Brand department and wider Commercial Integration team. You will collaborate to create, plan and execute client-facing branded content and integrations, innovative on-air and social contests and sponsorships, station promotional campaigns and events. You know your way around audience data, how to engage with them, and have a talent for creating engaging social media and content for web that aligns to our station brand DNA. The position requires a strong leader with ability to balance a high volume of sales requests, tight timelines, and exceptional execution across multiple platforms. They must also have excellent collaboration skills and an ability to influence cross-functional departments.  


What You Will Do… 

  • Work with SONiC and KiSS Content Directors, Sales Managers and Senior Promotions and Integration Manager to develop on-air contests, sales & promotion campaigns. 
  • Achieve local and team Commercial Integration revenue targets  
  • Achieve audience targets in collaboration with station Content Directors  
  • Maintain a detailed calendar of all station initiatives that generate revenue and build audience  
  • Constantly explore new strategies and tactics to increase the value of our integrations and help find creative solutions to client challenges that create incremental revenue  
  • Develop native digital/social concepts that surpass client expectations and engagement benchmarks  
  • Produce and execute world-class client integrations OTA and in digital. While coaching Content Directors and Talent accordingly.  
  • Write proposals, promotional announcements, and web content  
  • Manage day to day operations and tasks of station-level coordinators  
  • Maintain an inventory of promotional assets, signage, equipment, technical gear, and station vehicles  
  • Responsible for optimizing on-site activations, staff coordination and attending all major station events and designated client promotions as needed, including outside of office hours. Either in-person or online.  
  • Maintain & improve station community profile by coming to the table with ideas to maximizing existing on-site, online and partnership opportunities while actively searching new out events and opportunities for sponsorship/on-site presence.  
  • Actively participate in weekly Integrations and Sales meetings  
  • Maintain and grow (through data-based decision making) email databases including sending out weekly newsletters, event e-blasts and digital content  
  • Execute daily updates to station websites, create contest graphics & post content to social media accounts  
  • Other duties as assigned by Content Directors & Senior Promotions and Integration Manager
